Adam is an experienced investment banking professional with a focus on complex transactions and special situations including distressed, bankruptcy and restructuring. He has developed, advised on and implemented innovative financing and investment structures within the banking and finance, film, entertainment, sports, travel and leisure, transport, and infrastructure sectors.
His 25 year career includes transactions in the US, UK, Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand for a range of clients from international banking and financial institutions, Fortune 500 companies, VC and PE funds and UHNWI’s.
Adam is a co-founding partner and Managing Director of Structured Capital Solutions and is currently working with several leading financial institutions and corporate clients to structure and arrange various cross-border and domestic transactions. Prior to establishing Structured Capital Solutions, Adam worked for Rothschild &Co, was a member of the Corporate Finance Division of National Australia Bank, and worked in the Corporate Finance team of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia before that.
Based in Sydney, Michael has extensive credentials in financial engineering, capital structuring and strategic business development, gained during a 25 year career traversing corporate and structured finance, financial and capital markets, risk and relationship management, and business advisory services.
Prior to founding PHiQ Capital (a licensed Australian financial services company) in 2003, Michael was a Director of Corporate Financial Engineering at Société Générale, having been a Director of Structured Products at PwC, and a Manager in Structured Products at Commonwealth Bank of Australia before that.
This experience, together with a multidisciplinary background in finance, accounting, taxation and law, affords him an innate ability to design, market, implement, and critically evaluate highly complex commercial, financial and legal arrangements spanning any number of jurisdictions, industries and market sectors.
Based in Sydney, Daniel is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand, and brings c-suite level executive management, financial reporting, and governance expertise to PHiQ and its investees.
He has extensive experience in the fields of business growth and expansion, restructure and turnarounds, start-ups and corporate finance transactions (sell and buy side advisory), with demonstrated success for many high profile brand-named businesses, including Sumo Salad, Marr Contracting Pty Ltd, Sphere Healthcare, Ray White Double Bay, Beeline Technology, Boomaroo Nurseries, and NextGen Gaming.
He has held senior positions and undertaken key engagements with large international companies, private equity firms and successful start-ups in a variety of industries throughout Australia, the USA, China and the United Kingdom, with clients including GE Capital, ABN AMRO, Macquarie Bank, Gresham Rabo, Allen and Buckeridge, NBC Capital and Westpac Capital.
